The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it truly is alarmed about the higher amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The assistance position produced for intervention ordeals a substantial influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it sassa status check difficult with the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to help the servicing of all consumers and maximize entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
